爱尔眼科生物样本库成立于2023年，是由爱尔眼科医院集团设立，依托湖南省爱尔眼科研究所建设的眼科遗传资源条件保障平台，2023年12月获得国家人类遗传资源保藏行政许可（国科人遗审字﹝2023﹞BC0080号）。在集团统筹下，爱尔眼科生物样本库采用“分布式设计、标准化管理、数字化融合”的理念，在全国主要城市及区域的爱尔眼科医院及中心建立“一库多站”模式，充分整合爱尔眼科丰富的临床样本资源与眼科医疗大数据，为眼病的基础、临床和转化研究提供资源保障。

The AIER EYE Biobank, established in 2023 by the Aier Eye Hospital Group in collaboration with the Aier Eye Institute, is a cutting-edge genetic resource platform dedicated to ophthalmology. In December 2023, it received the National Administrative Permit for the Preservation of Human Genetic Resources (Permit No. [2023] BC0080). Guided by the Group's strategic planning, the AIER EYE Biobank adopts a "Distributed Design, Standardized Management, and Digital Integration" approach. Operating under a "one biobank with multiple stations" model, it has established facilities in Aier Eye Hospitals and centers in key cities and regions across China. Leveraging Aier's vast repository of clinical samples and ophthalmic medical big data, the biobank provides robust support for basic, clinical, and translational research into eye diseases.
